No Hammer Time jokes. That's far too played out.
The Golden Hammer, which originated in the NES game Wrecking Crew, is a faster, more powerful and rare version of the normal Hammer (which this update also confirms to be in the game). It even has the benefit of allowing it's user to float in midair by tapping a button (which button? I'm assuming the attack button, but it could be a jump button). But much like the original hammer, it's possible the thing will backfire, and your character will be stuck swinging around something that doesn't cause any damage at all.
