His Up Special, the 'Aether' attack mentioned last week, is an impressive recovery and combo move. Ike throws his sword into the air, jumps and catches it, and then falls down and cleaves everyone in front of him. The update notes that Ike is immune to flinching a few seconds after throwing his sword, and that many heavy characters have moves like this.
He didn't really say much about Ike's standard special, 'Eruption', but it's probably pretty easy to figure out anyway.
