MONKEYS! LOTS OF MONKEYS!
Diddy Kong joins the fray, not just increasing the vitally important simian quotient, but also apparently introducing Capoeira into the series. If he can't quite be the Smash Bros. equivalent of Eddy Gordo, at least he has a jetpack and peanut guns to make him truly stand out.
I'm really surprised by the number of new characters they've been introducing now, and the fact that they're all INITIAL characters. I knew Diddy would be playable in the game, but I honestly thought they'd keep him secret. Guess not.
His appearance also pretty much confirms that the game will likely have 20 starting characters (to keep it at an even number).
