People have brought up the idea of having a human Pokemon character before, and I've always thought it was kind of a lame idea. Well, it looks like those people got what they want...but in a way I can agree with!
Basically, Pokemon Trainer is the incredible three-in-one character. Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard do all the fighting (while the Trainer stands in the background. This is going to be odd when you're in a scrolling stage or when the Trainer has to share background space with the Animal Crossing gang), and you can switch between them during the match (with a neat little balancing system that makes sure you don't switch out too little...or too much). This is a neat character idea, actually. Plus, playing as Squirtle and Charizard will be a big deal to some.
So, this looks to be the mysterious 18th character. Does this mean the Ice Climbers are truly out? I won't say for sure just yet.
Anyway, it looks like the Dojo is already kicking my prediction's ass with it's newfangled character revelations. I pretty much guarantee that tomorrow, or sometime this week, will be the Pokemon Stadium now. My only question: will each of the Pokemon get their own page, or will there special moves/Final Smashes be conglomerated on the one page?
